The Association for the Advancement of Wound Care was conceived in 1995. It is the preeminent, global multidisciplinary organization dedicated to the research and clinical application of evidence-based wound care. As a not for profit association, AAWC strives to build a collaborative wound care community for optimal care of those who suffer from chronic non-healing wounds.
