About the presenter:
Cheryl’s mother died at the age of 47 from complications related to diabetes, amputation, and pressure ulcer/injury. Cheryl channeled her grief into a passion for wound care. She has over 20 years of wound care expertise as a nurse, educator, and content writer. Cheryl has authored and contributed more than 200 white papers, ebooks, blogs, and articles for WoundSource as well as freelance. She is VP, Clinical Education and Content Marketing of iWound,  VP, Board of Directors of the International Alliance Wound Care Scholarship Foundation (IAWCSF), on the Speakers Bureau for the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC), and a Board of Directors for the American Professional Wound Care Association (APWCA).
